Invisalign: invisible braces for your dental needs

Invisalign is one of the best ways to straighten your crooked teeth, whilst not having a huge impact on your social life. If you’re like me then you hate the idea of wearing big metal braces on your teeth all the time, stopping you from smiling and ruining your confidence. I got invisalign treatment instead of traditional fixed braces to avoid the whole “brace-face” stigma. I went to my dentists in Liverpool and he took a mould of my teeth and used it to make two almost invisible tray-like pieces that I wore over my teeth, as though I was wearing a near-invisible mouth guard. People vary rarely noticed I had them on, and the best thing was that I could take them out whenever I wanted, like when I went on dates.

I had to go private to get my invisalign treatment and I think it cost somewhere in the region of £2000. The dentist said that invisalign worked for my teeth because they were only moderately crooked, and that some people with more “complex” and very crooked teeth would be forced to get traditional fixed braces. My teeth are so much straighter now, I’m so glad I opted for invisalign.
